The new WA234-MONO (2nd gen) is a SET (single-ended triode) mono-block amplifier for the ultimate headphone and loudspeaker listening. The name is derived from the three legendary power tubes 2A3, 300B, and 45. The architecturally sculpted aluminum chassis creates a stunning art form and eliminates unwanted mechanical vibration, ensuring sonic purity. This timeless masterpiece uses all-triode tubes to deliver a listening experience at home that resembles a live performance.
The 2nd generation has been meticulously re-engineered with an exhaustive redesign of the driver and output stage for improved output loading capacity and power to deliver an impressively wide dynamic range across the entire frequency band.
The popular 6SN7 tube driver works alongside our in-house developed STEP-UP Driver technology, delivering a pristine, low-loss signal gain with sufficient voltage for the output stage. Proven successful in the acclaimed WA24 20th Anniversary Edition amplifier, the result is an ultra-low noise-floor with a pitch dark background that brings out the finest details in the music. This newly designed driver unlocks hidden power that is linear and distortion-free, even at maximum power output.
